Day at the Farm

This saturday past we had an awesome day with the grandkids. We spent the afternoon at the Seven Sons Farm grand opening celebration of their new farm store. Just last week, Hoosier Herbal Hippies dropped off the first batch of amazing soap we made from the natural tallow provided from their grass fed beef. Timing was off for the soap to be ready for this event, but early opinions from the farm family tells us we will be doing business soon. Some of that first batch will be available at the Dupont Downs Farmer's Market tomorrow, from noon until 7pm. You should try the Lavender Eucalyptus shampoo bar. I forgot the natural silkiness that high quality tallow gives to the formula. It is so exciting being a part of the growing vendor family there as well as customer base. Keep in touch and see when we will be giving soap making demonstrations at the Roanoke Farmers Market this summer. They contacted us last week and we would love to show everyone how they can make enough soap in one afternoon to last a year. Or to give for Christmas. Or sell on your own!
